Southern Impression Homes is a builder of single-family homes and multi-family units for both the BTR and owner-occupied markets in Florida. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in the construction industry, preferably with duties involving gathering and obtaining building permits
  • 2 or more years of successful experience in a professional office environment
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite/365
  • Pleasing demeanor
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to maintain professionalism and integrity in all work-related activities
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize effectively, and see projects through to completion
  • Comfortable with high work volume
  • Access to reliable transportation and proof of auto liability insurance

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating the activities of the seller, buyer, lender, title company, construction department, and sales department to ensure the timely closing of sales of Southern Impression's properties
  • Act as the primary point of contact regarding closings
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of the status of upcoming closings and be prepared to provide updates as needed
  • Communicate frequently with buyers to ensure they understand the closing process
  • Send correspondence to borrowers and lenders
  • Maintain contact with lenders on loan statutes
  • Attend closing meetings and address issues that are raised
  • Inform the title company when it is time to order surveys
  • Inform the buyer and lender of when the 3rd party inspection process can begin
  • Oversee all aspects of the closing document process
  • Review and approve closing statements
  • Review HUDs for accuracy
  • Ensure seller documents are signed timely
  • Send closing packets to the title company
  • Ensure contract files are complete and include the new contracts, changes, letters, earnest money receipts, and deco selections
  • Document the process in JDE including entering new contracts, updating closing dates, and closing the home in the system
  • Maintain and distribute closing reports and closing calendar
  • Send warranty information to the title company for closings
  • Distribute Certificates of Occupancy and HUD statements
  • Keep management informed of any issues or potential issues that arise
