About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards, delivering friendly customer service, and assisting customers with their shopping needs. The position involves collecting and disposing of trash, mopping floors, cleaning assigned areas, and deep cleaning key areas of the store to ensure a clean and safe environment. The cashier will also provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, handle cash transactions, promote the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, assist with Omni channel processes, and participate in stocking and planogram processes. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is required to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.

Requirements

Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements of the job.
Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards.
Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers in finding products.
Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
Deep clean key areas of the store, including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and other high traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
