Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook is essential for this role, and experience with SoftPro Select is preferred. As a Closer, you will be a key member of our team, contributing to providing top-notch customer service and partnership to our clients.

Requirements

  • Transaction Management: Ability to manage the entire closing process from start to finish
  • Coordination of the various parties involved in the transaction
  • Legal Compliance: Ensuring all aspects of the closing comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Adhering to ethical standards and professional conduct.
  • Real Estate Knowledge: Understanding of real estate law, including contract terms, title issues, and closing procedures
  • Enjoy working closely with clients and providing superior customer service.
  • A consistent positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring all documents are accurate and complete.
  • Reviewing contracts, deeds, and other legal documents for errors or discrepancies.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with clients, attorneys, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
  • Providing updates on the status of closings and addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service to clients throughout the closing process.
  • Addressing client concerns and ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
  • Time Management: Managing multiple closings simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Prioritizing tasks to ensure closings are completed on time.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Identifying and resolving issues that may arise during the closing process.
  • Finding creative solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure closings proceed smoothly.
  • Organizational Skills: Maintaining organized files and documentation for each closing.
  • Keeping track of key dates and deadlines for each transaction.
  • Teamwork: Collaborating with other members of the law firm, including attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff.
  • Supporting colleagues and assisting with tasks related to closings when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate extensively with lenders, realtors, mortgage clients, buyers, and sellers via email and phone.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure a smooth closing process.

  • Review and finalize closing documents accurately and efficiently.
