About The Position

Design Concepts/Marine Concepts, a division of Patrick Industries, is a leading composites manufacturer specializing in CNC plugs, parts, and molds, as well as advanced composite components for industries across the United States. We are currently seeking skilled and motivated candidates to join our infusion department. We’re looking for individuals who take pride in their craftsmanship, pay attention to detail, and are eager to grow with us. As part of our close molding team, you’ll gain hands-on experience working with a wide range of materials and applications across industries such as marine, aerospace, and wind energy—all within a sector recognized as the future of composites.

Requirements

Previous experience in composites, infusion, or closed molding preferred (will train the right candidate)
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to read and follow instructions, drawings, and specifications
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and reliability
Willingness to learn new techniques and materials
Lift 40 lbs. consistently throughout the entirety of shift
Work over time when needed
Stand for duration of shift

Responsibilities

Perform closed mold infusion processes to produce composite parts and molds
Prepare, measure, and mix resin systems with accuracy
Lay up and position materials (fiberglass, carbon fiber, core materials, etc.) into molds
Operate and maintain vacuum systems for infusion processes
Inspect parts for quality and accuracy according to specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety protocols
