About The Position

Works with Physician Network leadership, Physicians, Nurses and staff to develop, implement, train and maintain EMR for affiliated clinics. Demonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital’s mission, vision and values.

Requirements

HS/GED required
5 years RN experience
Experience with interfaces and practice management systems required
Clinical experience required
Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions
Skill in writing and maintaining records and reports
Ability to communicate clearly
Strong computer skills
Basic programming knowledge
Experience in teaching staff

Nice To Haves

Associates or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred

Responsibilities

Train new employees on the EMR application
Train existing staff on any new application upgrades, form changes or changes related to Meaningful Use, Joint Commission or other regulatory requirements.
Maintain all current forms in the EMR
Make any form alterations in the EMR as requested by physicians/department managers
Insure the EMR meets all MIPS requirements.
Assist physicians/staff to use EMR to meet quality measures to avoid CMS penalties
Assist physicians/staff to use EMR to meet Meaningful Use to obtain any CMS incentives and/or avoid CMS penalties.
Assist in the conversion of the EMR
Train the staff in the use of EMR and GPMS as it relates to ICD-10
Maintain detailed tracking and documentation of all change requests and training
Maintain detailed documentation of all attestation of CMS for MIPS
Work with vendors to assist with EMR issues
Run audit reports of user access and open document
Learn, build, implement and train any new EMR systems installed.
Assist Quality Team with Star improvements for ACO/MIPS reporting
