About The Position
Under the general direction of the Director of Information Systems, works with Director of Nursing, CIO, Physicians, department managers and staff to develop, implement, train, maintain EMR, as well as, implement, test, configure portal and POC with Physician Offices. Demonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital’s mission, vision and values.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge and abilities with computer software, software design and development, hardware, equipment assembly and installation.
- Ability to install, operate, adapt, diagnose and repair malfunctions in application software.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to record and interpret information accurately.
- Ability to handle multiple duties simultaneously.
- Ability to use common sense, independent learning, and technical information to solve problems.
Nice To Haves
- One to two years experience in a directly related Information System role.
- Previous experience in assigned business lines and/or healthcare setting.
