Clinician (MFT, LCSW, LPCC)
About The Position
TURN is seeking a Clinician to provide client-centered mental health services in support of the organization’s mission of Improving Lives. The role includes helping clients access medical, educational, social, vocational, housing, and other resources; connecting clients with appropriate levels of care; coordinating with physical health providers; and advocating for clients’ best interests to support whole-person care. The Clinician provides direct services, assists clients with basic needs and symptom management, and supports program goals. Requirements
- Master’s degree.
- California BBS registration or license as an MFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
- Valid California driver’s license and current auto insurance in accordance with contract requirements.
- Understanding of cultural competency.
Nice To Haves
- Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services.
- Bilingual ability.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessments and mental health evaluations.
- Provide family, individual, and group therapy.
- Develop plans and provide case consultation and crisis intervention.
- Coordinate discharge placement and assist clients in meeting basic needs and managing symptoms.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation and meet minimum billable requirements for direct client services.
- Facilitate placement, including pre-placement visits, and provide transportation as needed.
- Provide shift coverage as part of the on-call team.
- Provide field-based services as required by program and client needs.
- Maintain confidentiality of client care.
- Participate in scheduled program meetings.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
