About The Position

NRVCS is seeking an NRV Recovery Court Clinician to join their Recovery Court team. This role provides clinical, case management, and consultation services for individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or developmental disabilities, as well as their families and caregivers. The Clinician will offer supportive counseling, therapy, crisis intervention, screening and triage, assessment, Individualized Service Plan (ISP) development, psychoeducation, and referrals. This position may involve travel to other sites and requires developing and maintaining working relationships with consumers, families, other NRVCS programs, and community agencies to ensure quality services.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other licensed- eligible human services field is required.
License eligibility is required if not fully licensed and registration with the appropriate board is required within three months of hire.

Nice To Haves

State of Virginia License in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy is preferred.
At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is preferred.
Speaks multiple languages.

Responsibilities

Provides clinical, case management, and consultation services for individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or developmental disabilities and their family/caregivers.
