Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work or related mental health field.
Licensure (or eligibility) for LCSW or LCPC in Maine.
Valid Maine driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Takes initiative and follows through.

Stays organized while managing multiple priorities.
Brings both compassion and clinical confidence to your work.

Nice To Haves

4+ years of relevant mental health experience preferred.
Experience with co-occurring disorders (mental health & substance use) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and therapeutic support.
Guide staff and program managers with clinical insight and coaching.
Ensure high-quality, compliant documentation and treatment planning.
Participate in on-call rotation and agency initiatives.
Deliver individual and group counseling aligned with treatment plans.
Support staff through clinical challenges and crisis situations.
Foster a structured, supportive therapeutic environment.
Lead and coordinate clinical trainings and staff development.
Collaborate with internal teams and external providers.
Ensure accurate and compliant clinical documentation (including Medicaid standards).
Participate in case conferences, treatment meetings, and program planning.
Step into program leadership roles when needed.
