About The Position

NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency, is seeking a Full-Time Clinician for the Substance Use Services Programs, specifically the Massachusetts Impaired Driver and the Second Offender Aftercare Treatment Program (MID/SOA) in Haverhill, MA. This role is part of a small, collaborative team that utilizes a person-centered approach. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree in a clinical field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to seek out community resources independently.
  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder

Responsibilities

  • Conducting Substance Use assessments including MAST and DAST.
  • Conducting Clinical Intakes to include DSM 5 Diagnosis.
  • Facilitate Individual therapy, group therapy and case management with clients who are referred by court.
  • Completing all required clinical documentation.
  • Communication to Probation and other collaterals regarding program start.
  • Collaborating with the Program Director on treatment recommendations, clinical curriculum and program development.
  • Demonstrate comfortability in providing a judgement free environment.
