River Edge Behavioral Health in Macon, GA is seeking a Full-time Clinician for the Judiciary In-reach Program. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Clinician will conduct confidential behavioral health assessments, brief and on-going mental health counseling, and substance abuse assessment and counseling for clients at the Bibb County Jail. The role involves facilitating treatment plan development, participating in counseling sessions, attending court proceedings if applicable, and completing collaborative documentation. The Clinician will also identify and collaborate with jail staff to intervene in crisis situations, demonstrate problem-solving abilities, attend staff meetings and training, and participate in clinical supervision. Providing clinical consultation to referral sources, coordinating admissions and intake, maintaining accurate clinical records, and staying informed about available resources are also key responsibilities. Adherence to internal and external policies, procedures, regulations, and standards is required.
