About The Position

Our Non-Licensed Clinician provides recovery-oriented support to individuals with Serious Mental Illness transitioning from inpatient psychiatric hospitalization to our program before reintegrating back to community living situations. We’re looking for people who have experience developing and mentoring a team, who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities. The Extended Acute Care is a licensed, 16-bed temporary residential treatment program located in Glen Hazel. We’re looking for employees who are professional, flexible, compassionate, and can remain composed in stressful situations. In any given day you will facilitate various groups, provide limited transportation of residents to community settings, interact with family members, and have good computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication. This is a team-based position. Our sites are like your family home! Your dependability, integrity, empathy for others (both persons served and your fellow employees), and dedication to teamwork are essential to this position.

Requirements

Master degree in human services AND 1 year experience working with people with serious mental illness diagnoses OR Bachelor degree in human services AND 3 years of experience working with people with serious mental illness diagnoses
Pass a bi-annual physical
Pass pre-employment drug testing
Valid PA driver’s license
Able to drive an organization automobile/15-passenger van
Act 33/34/73 Clearances upon hire
Good computer skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
