Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work or related mental health field
Licensure (or eligibility) for LCSW or LCPC in Maine (conditional license holders are strongly encouraged to apply!)
4+ years of relevant mental health experience preferred
Experience with co-occurring disorders (mental health & substance use) is a plus
Takes initiative and follows through
Balances independent work with strong teamwork
Communicates clearly and builds trust easily
Stays organized while managing multiple priorities
Brings both compassion and clinical confidence to your work
Valid Maine driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Deliver individual and group counseling aligned with treatment plans
Support staff through clinical challenges and crisis situations
Foster a structured, supportive therapeutic environment
Lead and coordinate clinical trainings and staff development
Collaborate with internal teams and external providers
Ensure accurate and compliant clinical documentation (including Medicaid standards)
Participate in case conferences, treatment meetings, and program planning
Step into program leadership roles when needed
