BACS is looking for Clinical Care Coordinators for the Community Wellness and Response Team (CWRT), formerly known as Alternatives to 911. This program collaborates with 988 and Sacramento County to provide urgent crisis response for community members, aiming to reduce reliance on emergency services and connect individuals with community-based resources. The CWRT operates 24/7, 365, with staff rotating through dispatch and response assignments. Responders work in teams of two, using company vehicles for in-field response to de-escalate situations and connect individuals with resources. CWRT staff collaborate with 911/988 dispatchers, law enforcement, and their own dispatchers. The role involves preventing individuals from entering the traditional system and helping them access resources to avoid the need for law enforcement and crisis services. Current openings are for the MID shift, from 12:30 pm to 8:30 pm, with schedules from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.
