Children’s Services School-Based Clinician Do you have a passion for youth mental health? Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health or Marriage & Family Therapy
Current Vermont License (LICSW, LCMHC, LMFT) or rostered

Responsibilities

Conduct clinical assessments and design treatment plans that target clearly identified treatment goals
Make compassionate, sound clinical decisions in the ever-changing landscape of school life
Work with students, parents, and small groups with the goal of helping children better access their education
Address mental health, substance use, social work and behavioral issues that impact children and their families, particularly in the school setting
Communicate effectively for honest discussions, feedback, and exchanges
Work well with a team and demonstrate flexibility when client, program, and/or agency needs require it
