About The Position
New River Valley Community Services (NRVCS), a large Community Service Board in Virginia, is seeking clinicians (LMHP or LMHP-E) for its outpatient program to work with children and adolescents. The program utilizes innovative, evidence-based practices. Child therapists have access to a shared play therapy room and can receive supervision with a Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor, working towards credentialing as a Registered Play Therapist. Successful applicants should have experience working with children/adolescents and their families.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other license-eligible Human Services field required.
- Experience working with children/adolescents and their families.
Nice To Haves
- Virginia Licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist is preferred.
- At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is preferred.
- Speak multiple languages.
