About The Position

Shiloh House is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to join their new Day Treatment Program serving clients with significant social, emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. This role is an opportunity to be part of a collaborative team shaping a therapeutic environment designed to help youth succeed academically, emotionally, and socially. Requirements

  • Masters degree in Counseling or a related field from a CACREP accredited school. If the school is not CACREP accredited there must be proof of completion of the educational equivalency review at the time of interview.
  • Active Colorado licensure required (LPC, LCSW)
  • Skill in assessment, diagnosis, case conceptualization, and treatment planning.
  • Must be willing to work in a team of professionals outside of the agency.
  • Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license or the ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening as a condition of employment, in accordance with Colorado Department of Human Services regulations for child care facilities.
  • Must be motivated, independent, creative, innovative, and strengths based!
  • Must work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work with highly acute youth while demonstrating empathy and resiliency is essential.
  • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Professionalism working with internal staff and external partners is a must.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in a high acuity environment and/or working with offense specific youth is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide life-changing and individualized direct clinical services including individual, family, multi-family, and group therapy for a blended caseload of youth with significant trauma, mental health, and behavioral health needs, which may include youth in need of offense specific treatment.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and utilize behavior management techniques with clients to ensure that their clinical needs are met.
  • Collaborate with residential and education staff to foster a trauma informed and strengths based environment in school and milieu settings where all youth can thrive.
  • Complete clinical documentation including, but not limited to: assessments, treatment planning, progress reports, discharge summaries, court reports, and notes in a timely manner and in accordance with the guidelines set forth by local and national licensing and accrediting bodies.
  • Complete case management needs such as remaining in contact with families and members of multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participate in a Clinical On Call rotation, addressing needs virtually with support from other professionals via Shiloh House’s layered on call system.
