About The Position

The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CCPS) at Washington County Mental Health Services (WCMHS) is seeking a licensed social worker, mental health clinician, or psychologist to join its outpatient program in Berlin. This position provides clinical services to adults and families across the lifespan, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns. The clinician will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and designated case management staff, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. This is a meaningful opportunity to support community mental health in a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree and license eligible.
  • One year experience providing therapy support and clinical services to adults and children.
  • Clean driving record and access to a safe, insured and reliable vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in DBT, CBT and group therapy preferred.
  • A collaborative approach, demonstrating understanding of trauma-informed practice and familiarity with co-occurring substance use disorder treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inclusive mental health, developmental disability and substance use services.
  • Support and advance the WCMHS mission collaboratively and productively working with internal and external partners.
  • Work closely with clients and families educating clients regarding their health, disease prevention and healthy behaviors.
  • Conduct diagnostic interviews to understand client's history and symptoms
  • Develop personalized actionable goals and therapeutic strategies.
