About The Position

Under supervision of a licensed clinician, the Social Work Clinician II provides clinical and casework services to members served and natural supports. This involves person centered recovery planning and collaborating with other services and agencies. Telecare's mission is to deliver excellent and effective behavioral health services that engage individuals in recovering their health, hopes, and dreams. Telecare’s Community Alternatives Team (T-CAT) provides outreach services in Pierce County, including a Diversion Service that partners with Community Hospital Emergency Departments and Pierce Co. Mobile Crisis Team to assess risk and provide support to individuals to avoid psychiatric hospitalization. The Transition Service assists individuals working towards discharge from E&T or other housing settings, providing support for successful transition to outpatient services, and receiving referrals from community stakeholders to prevent returns to acute hospital settings.

Requirements

  • Completed Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, etc. (A master's that leads to licensure)
  • Eligible for a Washington Behavioral Health License.
  • One (1) year of direct service experience with individuals with severe mental illness in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
  • Valid and current driver’s license.
  • Personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
  • Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.

Responsibilities
