About The Position

Provide direct clinical services under supervision. Deliver therapeutic interventions, maintain documentation, and support treatment planning. Operate with a license-eligible credential and contribute to client care and recovery.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
  • License-eligible for LCSW, LPC, or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of experience in behavioral health or clinical services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic documentation systems OR an equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that demonstrates the capacity to perform the essential functions of the position, as permitted by applicable regulatory standards.
  • Possession of a valid Virginia driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record in accordance with agency policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing therapy or clinical services in behavioral health settings
  • Familiarity with Medicaid, DBHDS, and local service coordination protocols
  • Training in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and crisis response

Responsibilities

  • Deliver therapeutic services to individuals and groups under clinical supervision
  • Conduct assessments and contribute to treatment planning
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support client care
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case reviews
  • Support crisis intervention and safety planning as needed
  • Promote recovery-oriented and trauma-informed practices
