The Department of Dermatology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking applications from clinician educators at all career stages to join their team of talented academic dermatologists. This group is dedicated to improving the health of people in North Carolina and training future leaders in dermatology through a nationally renowned residency program. The department has a tradition of supporting innovation and research, historically ranking among the top ten dermatology programs in the nation for NIH funding. They offer flexibility to build a practice based on the applicant’s clinical interests and support faculty in developing subspecialty expertise. The department boasts a robust clinical program with outpatient sites in Chapel Hill, Hillsborough, and Raleigh, NC, inpatient consultation services, dermatopathology, Mohs surgery, laser services, phototherapy, and a clinical trials unit. They provide diverse state-of-the-art patient care and support numerous subspecialty and multidisciplinary clinics. This position is recruited as an Open Rank appointment with an FTE between 0.5 and 1.0. The appointment will be offered as a fixed-term track, variable track, or tenure/tenure track. Applicants must possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to academic dermatology, with an interest and skill in teaching medical students and residents.
