About The Position

Devereux Florida is seeking a passionate Clinician to join their Neighborhood for Families Program. This community-based initiative provides intensive therapeutic and supportive services directly within local neighborhoods and community centers to children, youth, and families in Orange County. The program focuses on offering individual, family, couples, or group therapy in non-clinical settings to help families experiencing stress, emotional challenges, or early-stage behavioral concerns before they escalate. Clinicians will collaborate with case managers and partner agencies to assess needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and connect families with community resources. The ultimate goal is to strengthen family functioning, promote resilience, and improve overall well-being by increasing the accessibility of mental health services in familiar community settings.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in the field of counseling, social work, psychology required.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Must be willing to meet clients in community setting.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings which include: Drug Test and TB Test.
  • Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida preferred.
  • Two years' experience working directly with children, adolescents and families OR related experience working under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing therapy to individuals of all ages, families, couples, and/or groups in a community-based setting housed at a Community Center.
  • Providing intensive therapeutic services.
  • Assessing clients.
  • Formulating individualized multidisciplinary treatment plans.
  • Working with treatment team members and case managers.
  • Working in collaboration with partner agencies to meet the varying needs of community members.
