About The Position

Alaska Behavioral Health is seeking a Clinician for their Child & Family team in Anchorage. The Intensive Outpatient team delivers comprehensive behavioral health services to children and youth. Clinicians provide individualized treatment planning, psychotherapy, and group services designed to help young people build skills and thrive within their communities. The team specializes in trauma-informed and trauma-focused care, cognitive behavioral therapy, and family-centered interventions. Alaska Behavioral Health is a recognized site within the National Child Traumatic Stress Network and serves as a training hub for childhood mental health and trauma-focused treatment.

Requirements

  • You have a master or doctoral degree from an accredited institution
  • You’re a Unlicensed or Licensed Clinician (LPC, LMFT, LCSW required). AKBH can assist with providing licensure on site for Unlicensed Clinicians.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in regular individual and group supervision and be provided with additional training opportunities as part of our professional development plan
  • Provide behavioral health services in the Anchorage area and state-wide via telehealth using evidenced-based practices including Attachment, Self-Regulation and Competency (ARC). Trauma-Focused CBT, and MATCH.
  • Develop and implement group programming for youth.
