About The Position

The Clinical Value Analyst Nurse collaborates with interdisciplinary teams across the organization, manages the Value Analysis Programs, oversees new product introductions, and leads the standardization of supplies and equipment within pediatric departments and clinics. Utilizing data and internal resources, the Clinical Value Analyst Nurse enhances safety standards by reducing supply variation, improves quality of care, fosters employee engagement, and achieves house-wide cost savings. The Clinical Value Analyst Nurse utilizes evidence to evaluate the value and effectiveness of products, services, and technologies and participates in the Capital Equipment budgeting process at Seattle Children's. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential for driving value-based decisions and enhancing patient outcomes. The Clinical Value Analyst Nurse is pivotal in fostering a culture of cost efficiency and safety, ensuring the organization delivers high-quality, economically sustainable care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum two (2) years of work experience in nursing, including pediatrics and Supply Chain related work experience.
  • Education and training experience in electronic health record (EHR) and Supply Chain concepts.
  • Current Washington State or Multistate (MSL) RN license.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
  • Pediatric Emergency, Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) will be accepted in lieu of BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Certification in Supply Chain or related field.
  • Knowledgeable on Lawson, Workday, Cerner and/or Epic functionality.
  • Lean enterprise and/or six sigma training/certification.
