About The Position

Neuroscience Trials Australia (NTA) is seeking an experienced Clinical Trials Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality clinical drug and/or device trials across academic and commercially sponsored studies. Reporting to the Head of Clinical Operations, you will take ownership of end-to-end project delivery—ensuring studies are executed efficiently, compliantly, and on schedule. This role is ideal for a clinical research professional who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is passionate about advancing neuroscience research.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or a related health discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in clinical research, including at least 1 year as a Senior CRA (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and research operations
  • Proven ability to manage projects to timeline, scope, and budget
  • Experience with clinical documentation and GCP essential documents
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project systems
  • Current valid work rights for Australia

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in neurology or mental health trials
  • Background in commercially sponsored studies
  • Experience in quality systems, auditing, or investigational product management

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver assigned clinical trial projects in line with contracts (MSA, SOW) and operational plans
  • Ensure studies remain audit-ready, including maintaining study files and documentation
  • Manage project timelines, risks, and issue escalation
  • Maintain accurate project data in internal systems
  • Build and manage strong relationships with investigators, sponsors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Support finance processes, including project invoicing and budget tracking
  • Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP, NHMRC, and regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to the development of SOPs, clinical operations processes, and organisational initiatives
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous improvement
