About The Position

SMS Clinical Research is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Clinical Trial Patient Enroller to join our growing team. This role is critical to the success of our studies, as you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and enrolling eligible patients into clinical trials. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and driven to meet enrollment goals while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Requirements

Previous experience in clinical research, healthcare, sales, or patient recruitment preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable discussing medical information with patients in a clear and compassionate manner
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple leads and priorities
Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
A self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of their role
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
A team player who can also work independently
Passion for patient care and advancing medical research

Responsibilities

Identify and pre-screen potential patients for clinical trial eligibility
Educate patients about study opportunities, procedures, and expectations
Coordinate and schedule screening visits with the clinical team
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions
Follow up with leads and ensure strong patient engagement throughout the enrollment process
Collaborate with Clinical Research Coordinators and providers to meet enrollment targets
Track and report enrollment metrics and pipeline activity
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines
