About The Position

At ICON Strategic Solutions, the Clinical Trial Manager – CVRM works in a sponsor-dedicated model, supported by ICON’s global expertise. The role manages clinical trial operations activities and supports the team and stakeholders in delivering high-quality outcomes across clinical programmes. The position involves planning and managing clinical trials, working with cross-functional teams, investigators, and stakeholders, and ensuring that trials meet applicable timelines, budget, quality, regulatory, and ethical requirements. The role also involves problem-solving and critical decision-making related to trial design, vendor selection, and risk management.

Requirements

• University degree in medicine, science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive the clinical deliverables of a study.
• Subject matter expertise in the designated therapeutic area.
• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 25%.
• Must have the legal right to work in the country where the role is based.

Nice To Haves

• Prior monitoring experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement clinical trial protocols and procedures.
• Build and manage strong relationships with trial investigators and stakeholders.
• Ensure trials comply with local, national, and international regulations and ethical guidelines.
• Make critical decisions and solve problems regarding trial design, vendor selection, and risk management.
• Support the team in delivering clinical trial management activities and high-quality outcomes.
