About The Position
IQVIA is seeking an experienced Clinical Data Analyst for the Advanced Analytics group within the Clinical Data Science department. The analyst will dedicate efforts to a pharmaceutical client and its data analytics initiatives. The role supports clinical trial operations through study feasibility, design optimization, site selection, and related analytics. It uses tools and SQL databases to retrieve and analyze data, then communicates insights in ways study teams can understand and use in clinical-trial decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to data science, engineering, computer science, statistics, or machine learning.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience supporting the operational feasibility, design, and analytics of clinical trial operations.
- Experience supporting clinical-trial efforts, including providing insights used to make decisions within clinical trials.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data querying, aggregation, and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to engage with clinical study teams, understand their needs, and deliver results.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills, including presenting data-driven findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to author emails summarizing key KPIs or insights and prepare slides summarizing analysis results.
Nice To Haves
- Cloud experience, such as using AWS or Databricks.
Responsibilities
- Support Clinical Operational Strategy by using Python and SQL to query, aggregate, and analyze clinical trial operations data and derive results.
- Collaborate with clinical study teams to understand analytics needs, perform analyses, and report tailored results with minimal oversight.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance models, tools, and visualizations for ongoing or planned clinical trials.
- Ensure data quality and integrity throughout all work.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
