Organization: Otolaryngology Job Summary: JOB SUMMARY Responsible for coordination and conduct of research protocols, such that the integrity and quality of the clinical/translational research is maintained and the research is conducted in accordance within all policies, independently. This job is focused in the Vanderbilt Music Cognition Lab and the Biobehavioral Approaches in Neurodevelopment (BAND) Lab. . This job spans across the Vanderbilt Music Cognition Lab and the Biobehavioral Approaches in Neurodevelopment (BAND) Lab. These research labs are focused on social communication and developmental assessments and interventions in young children with ASD for NIH-funded studies. Interventions are grounded in naturalistic developmental behavioral intervention strategies and include music- and play-based activities. This position requires high attention to detail, contact with families and recruitment in the community/clinics, willingness to learn new skills, and knowledge of the research process. Preference for individuals with prior experience in assessment and intervention in ASD. According to interest/experience, opportunities to contribute to study design, data analysis, data interpretation, and dissemination of study findings. The position will also support study coordination including participant recruitment and screening for study participation, and other study-related tasks such as assistance with IRB and data management.
