About The Position

Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services that support them to thrive. Specifically, we focus on integrated autism care and a play-based model of ABA therapy based on the principles of the Early Start Denver Model. The Clinical Trainer (BCBA) role is built for experienced BCBAs who want to expand their impact beyond their own caseload by developing other clinicians and strengthening clinical quality across a center. You'll remain close to clinical care while spending meaningful time coaching new RBTs, developing Case Supervisors, leading training, and helping teams build fluency in Soar's ESDM-based care model. Prior ESDM experience is not required — you'll receive structured training and support as you work toward ESDM certification. Requirements

• Minimum of a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.
• LBA (if applicable).
• 3 or more years of experience as Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
• ABA early intervention experience.

• Strong desire to work with clients ages 2- 6.
• Clear professional communication, both verbally and in writing.
• Fluency in navigating devices such as computers and tablets.

• Preferred candidates have a background in child development, early childhood education, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for new trainee (BT/RBT) growth and development at one to two local centers after trainees complete one week of centralized training.
• Support initial and ongoing RBT competency evaluations for new and existing RBTs.
• Support 3-4 case supervisors as they grow their clinical and decision making skills.
• Provide weekly hours of billable supervision, focused on providing supervision to trainees during their first 6 weeks at Soar, and case supervisors preparing for the BCBA exam.
• Host weekly group training and discussion sessions for new trainees at their home center.
• Build trainees skill sets in ESDM practices and ABA strategies, including joint activity routines, responding to challenging behavior, data collection/documentation, and evidence based teaching strategies.
• Completes monthly STNH ESDM Fidelity Checks for RBTs.
• Hosts a section of the MDC bi-weekly to monthly that communicates with BCBAs what is needed from them to ensure adherence to supervision requirements.
• Organize and host quarterly, center-level continuing education events for BCBAs and RBTs.
• Collaborate with the Partner Clinician and Center Operations Director regarding RBT performance and needed performance improvement initiatives.
• Act as a clinical leader in the center on days when the Partner Clinician is not present.
• Achieve ESDM certification within 2 years of starting your role as a Clinical Trainer.
