Emory University's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing is seeking applications for clinical track faculty to advance its teaching and scholarship mission. The school is committed to educating visionary nurse leaders and scholars, generating and applying knowledge, and transforming nursing, health, and systems of health care. The ideal candidates will be doctorally-prepared individuals with experience as nurse educators and a focused area of educational or clinical scholarship. They should be able to teach across a wide array of clinical areas at the pre-licensure level and possess certification and current or recent practice as advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs). Priority will be given to those who can teach across programs and/or have demonstrated expertise as educators in higher education. As part of the Robert W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center, the School of Nursing is a nationally ranked leader in nursing education and practice, offering programs across the nursing education spectrum and other health professions. Clinical track faculty will engage in collaborative relationships with Emory’s strong interdisciplinary initiatives in Cardiovascular Health, Data Science, Omics and Genetics/Genomics, Neuroscience, and Palliative Care, as well as with other institutions and organizations. Appointments may be made with the titles of Clinical Instructor and Senior Clinical or the ranks of Assistant Clinical Professor, Associate Clinical Professor, or Full Clinical Professor, commensurate with academic and clinical credentials and teaching experience. Candidates for Associate Professor or Professor must have an established track record as an educator with demonstrated excellence in teaching and research/scholarship, and a track record of peer-reviewed publication is required for ranked faculty titles (Assistant Clinical Professor or higher).
