About The Position

The Clinical Therapy Director is responsible for implementing policies and procedures for the therapy division, modeling and maintaining standards of best practice, and ensuring compliance with all State and Federal regulations, Medicaid/Medicare regulations, and MGA policies and procedures. This role promotes the growth of the therapy program through supervision of hiring, training, and retention of quality therapists. The Director oversees therapy productivity and fosters effective management of staff and resources across therapy disciplines in conjunction with the Therapy Operations Manager. They also oversee therapy administrative support staff, perform evaluations and treatment visits, and maintain a small caseload to preserve clinical skills. Additionally, the role assists with data collection for chart audits for ongoing quality assurance and performance improvement, completes annual reviews, provides guidance and support for Therapy Clinical Supervisors, and assists with counseling and corrective action plans with field staff as needed. The Director coordinates with and participates in marketing efforts for the acquisition of new referrals and recruiting of new therapists, and maintains positive relationships with community resources. They provide guidance, mentorship, and education to therapy employees and the community, encouraging ongoing communication to support the company's mission. Regular communication and collaboration with the Account Manager and Senior Leadership is expected to report on therapy program status. The Director oversees the creation and coordination of therapy in-services and educational programs, and assists with the coordination of precepting and training programs for therapy students. The role also supports and executes the mission, ethics, and goals of the company effectively, representing themselves in a positive and professional manner, adhering to dress code, reporting on time, and following all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree in an accredited Therapy discipline
  • Current State License in good standing as an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Current Driver’s license and automobile insurance
  • Minimum of 5 years Professional experience as a licensed Therapist
  • Minimum of 3 years Pediatric, Supervisory and Home Health experience
  • Clinical expertise in discipline and able to mentor others
  • Current BLS/CPR
  • Good interpersonal skills and high level of integrity
