About The Position

Renaissance Recovery Florida is an outpatient behavioral health facility in Lantana, Florida, providing PHP and IOP levels of care for individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring psychiatric conditions. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the 12-Step model, family systems, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and DBT skills. Experience with electronic medical records and behavioral health documentation is required. Clinical supervision is available, if needed.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
  • Familiarity with the 12-Step model, family systems, psychodynamic therapy, CBT, and DBT.
  • Strong clinical assessment, documentation, communication, and crisis-management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Applicants must hold or be actively registered under one of the following: ACSW, AMFT, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, CAC, CAP.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year of experience in addiction treatment preferred.
  • Experience documenting in an electronic medical record preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling services.
  • Facilitate approximately 1–2 groups per week.
  • Maintain a caseload of approximately 8–10 clients.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Assess clients' strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences.
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments and formulate diagnostic impressions in accordance with current DSM criteria.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Review family and social history relevant to diagnosis and treatment.
  • Select appropriate therapeutic approaches, including directive, nondirective, and supportive therapy.
  • Establish the frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy based on client needs.
  • Provide behavioral health services for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
  • Coordinate services with community resources, referral sources, families, and members of the treatment team.
  • Provide crisis intervention services when authorized and clinically necessary.
  • Complete risk assessments and utilization reviews as needed.
  • Participate in clinical team meetings and communicate relevant client updates.
  • Maintain all required state licenses, registrations, and certifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
