About The Position

Benchmark Behavioral Health in Woods Cross, Utah, is a 94-bed private psychiatric residential treatment facility serving adolescent males ages 13–18. The facility has supported young men for more than 30 years. The Clinical Therapist provides behavioral health care to adolescents and manages an assigned caseload, applying clinical interventions and treatment programming. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, with a salary range of $77,000–$120,000 per year depending on education, license, certifications, and years of clinical experience.

Requirements

Hold a valid Utah clinical license: LCSW, CSW, LMFT, AMFT, CMHC, or ACMHC.
Have a strong background in cognitive behavioral therapy.
Demonstrate effective clinical intervention skills to engage residents and develop effective, creative treatment plans.
Have a solid understanding of educational, psychological, family, and social systems as they relate to behavioral treatment.

Responsibilities

Conduct individual, group, and family therapy and apply appropriate clinical interventions, treatment programming, and clinical care for the assigned caseload.
Conduct initial assessments, develop treatment plans, provide ongoing case management, plan for discharge, and develop aftercare.
Document treatment interventions and results in medical records in a timely manner.
Assist with ongoing training of direct care staff working with assigned teams.
Participate in multidisciplinary case conference meetings.
Respond to concerns from patients, families, and referral sources.
Provide timely reports on treatment obstacles and progress.
