About The Position

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Therapist to support their Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for adults with Substance Use Disorders (SUD). This role is ideal for a clinician with strong experience in addiction recovery, group facilitation, and virtual care delivery. The part-time position (15–20 hours per week) provides virtual IOP therapy services to adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The role includes flexible, non-traditional hours, supporting scheduled IOP programming. This position is focused on ongoing therapeutic care and group facilitation and does not include responsibilities for assessments, evaluations, or new patient admissions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field
• Current Michigan licensure (full licensure required)
• Active CAADC certification required (no development plans accepted)
• Prior experience facilitating IOP groups is required
• Demonstrated experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
• Strong group therapy and clinical documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy within a virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) setting
• Complete/Update treatment planning, documentation, and clinical interventions.
• Facilitate structured IOP group sessions, utilizing evidence-based SUD treatment approaches
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support client progress and engagement
• Support continuity of care through coordination and discharge planning
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Utilize evidence-based and recovery-oriented treatment practices
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and person-centered virtual treatment environment
