This is a Temporary Full-Time contract position ending March 2027, requiring 37.5 hours per week with flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Clinical Therapist reports to the Clinical Supervisor and is responsible for supporting quality and clinical outcomes to provide efficient and effective provision of supports and services for persons diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families. The role involves adhering to professional conduct standards, legislative requirements, and quality assurance measures. The therapist will develop and maintain relationships with families, partner agencies, and other professionals, support integration into various programs, and use Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) principles for intervention design and implementation. Responsibilities include obtaining consents, developing and implementing behavior plans, providing direct support, coaching families and staff, recording data, assessing and mitigating risk, and collaborating with the Clinical Supervisor on behavior programming. The role also involves working as part of a bio-psycho-social team, participating in meetings, and ensuring the health and safety of supported persons according to relevant regulations.
