Requirements

  • Licensed and credentialed to practice in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Clinical or Counseling Psychology Doctorate from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program
  • Completed an APA-approved clinical psychology internship.
  • Experience with completing psychological evaluations
  • Familiarity with working with/within school systems and familiarity with the IEP/504 Process
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner

  • Competency in providing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations
  • Experience working with a pediatric, adolescent, and young adult population
  • Special interest in Autism assessment
  • Help set up a program to conduct child and adolescent diagnostic evaluations
  • Evaluate results and deliver treatment recommendations to families as part of a clinically excellent program

Responsibilities

  • Complete psychiatric assessment on child & adolescent patient
  • Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling child & adolescent patients and their families as needed to facilitate behavioral health clinical care management.
  • Determine an evaluation plan that would address the referral questions, which may include diagnostic questions, treatment recommendations, and/or needs for special education accommodations
  • Administer, score, and interpret psychological measures
  • Write a thorough testing report to explain the results of the evaluation
  • Provide feedback to the client regarding the results of the evaluation, and, if requested, coordinate with other providers to share the testing results
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
  • Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
