The Clinical Technician plays a critical role in supporting clinical programs and operational processes. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across clinical documentation, protocols, and reporting, while providing technical support to P&T committee activities, Care Management, and Clinical Services teams.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of PBM experience or at least 4 years of experience in hospital, specialty, or retail pharmacy environments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) – required

Responsibilities

  • Support technical aspects of Clinical Prior Authorization Protocols, including content transposition into new formats or templates.
  • Assist in cataloguing and maintaining multiple document libraries, including internal protocol documents, prescriber-facing forms, member notifications, and client-facing materials.
  • Provide technical assistance for P&T Committee processes.
  • Maintain the client-facing materials library for clinical programs following P&T Committee approvals.
  • Support the production of new clinical protocols from a technical standpoint.
  • Initiate Transition of Care impact reporting for new and existing clients.
  • Utilize Salesforce to communicate and track requests with internal teams.
  • Proficiently use third-party platforms and reporting tools as needed.
  • Follow all defined practices, processes, and procedures.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects involving the Clinical Services team.
  • Handle requests from the Clinical Services Executive, Clinical Specialist, and Director of Clinical Risk and Services.
  • Provide peer support as needed to enhance team effectiveness.
