About The Position

Inova Fairfax Hospital – ICU - Surgical and Trauma is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 to join the team. This schedule for this role will be Full Time | Rotations: Days & Nights | 6:00AM – 6:30PM & 6:00PM – 6:30AM | Days Vary | Rotating weekends & holidays. Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1 year working as a Clinical Technician; or completing acute care clinical rotation, and actively enrolled in a nursing program
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurses.
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
• May perform additional duties as assigned
