About The Position
The Clinical Technician works in the Intermediate Medical Care Unit (IMCU) within St. Mary's Hospital in Athens, GA. The role involves working under the direction of the RN/LPN to assess and provide basic patient care needs while maintaining patient care standards. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and functions effectively as a member of a health care team.
Requirements
- High school graduate or have GED equivalent
- BLS certification required
- Computer skills required
Nice To Haves
- Nursing Assistant certification preferred
- A student in a medical field program may be hired into a clinical technician position
- Hospital or Clinical experience preferred
- Medical terminology preferred
