About The Position

Merakey is seeking a Clinical Leader to join their team in Harrisburg, PA, supporting Dauphin County. The starting salary is $75,000, plus mileage reimbursement. The Program Director provides leadership and oversight for an assigned program, ensuring quality service delivery, effective operations, regulatory compliance, and financial sustainability. This position leads and develops staff, oversees program operations, and supports strategic initiatives and continuous quality improvement. The role may also maintain a caseload and provide direct services as needed.

Requirements

• Masters degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline including, but not limited to, psychiatry, social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, or activity therapies
• 3+ years of clinical experience working with adults with SPMI (Serious and persistent mental illness)
• 2+ years of administrative/supervisory experience

Nice To Haves

• License eligible (LCSW, LSW, LPC, or LMFT)
• All field work and course work is completed, but haven’t yet passed exam
• Certified Peer Specialist Supervisor, or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program operations, service delivery, and compliance with Merakey policies and regulatory standards.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop program staff, including performance management and professional development.
• Coordinate recruitment, hiring, scheduling, and staffing needs.
• Monitor program budgets, P&L, and financial performance.
• Support program evaluation, quality improvement, and implementation of strategic initiatives.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support community outreach and program marketing.
