About The Position
The Clinical Educator acts as an expert clinician, educator, consultant and researcher. In collaboration with nursing & medical staff, the Clinical Teacher-Educator monitors the clinical care of patients and provides clinical support to improve patient care and patient.
Requirements
- Master of Science in Nursing in area of specialization.
- Minimum of five years acute care nursing experience; demonstrated experience in clinical program development, outcomes management, and teaching. Cardiac Subspecialty required if working in Critical Care Area.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the current Nevada State Board of Nursing Practice.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada.
- Certification in area of specialization is highly desirable.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
