Clinical Support Technician
About The Position
Regions Coon Rapids clinic has an opening for a Clinical Support Technician with strong verbal and written communication skills. This position will provide and/or support patient care by performing tasks and duties consistent with professional standards and HealthPartners policies and procedures. In addition, may function in supply aid and/or sterilization capacity by maintaining a safe work area and ensuring that it is adequately stocked, cleaned and organized. Implement cleaning and sterilizing procedures to support infection control and OSHA standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 2 years customer service experience and/or healthcare experience
- Complete Medical Terminology and Pharmacology online courses within six months of hire
- Complete BLS course within 1 week of hire and maintained BLS certification in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA). No online only courses accepted.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician program or currently registered as a pharmacy technician with one or more years pharmacy technician experience
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program and current Nursing Assistant Certification
