About The Position
Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital seeks a Clinical Support Tech for their Wound Care Center department responsible for rooming patients, safe patient handling, vital signs, vascular diagnostic testing, procedural instrument management, room turnover and set up, and supply stocking management. Supports the patient experience by assisting with patient flow in order to reduce wait times.
Requirements
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong computer skills (email, texting)
- Comfort with technology.
- Prior patient care experience.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years in a patient care setting providing patient care.
Responsibilities
- Actively participates in room turnover by cleaning, replenishing supplies, and preparing for all necessary items for the next patient in a timely manner.
