The MA Clinical Mental Health Counseling: Buddhism-Informed Contemplative Counseling (BICC) concentration is seeking Clinical Support Professional Readers (CSP-R) to assist the course instructor in the in-person Fall CMHC615BA Capstone I and Spring CMHC616BA Capstone II courses. The role offers support with the student experience in class and mentors students in creating their Master’s Paper Capstone project. This is a two-semester appointment. The Fall semester runs August 24, 2026 to December 11, 2026, and the Spring semester runs January 11, 2027 to May 7, 2027. This course is scheduled to meet every other Monday from 2:40pm-3:55pm at the Nalanda Campus, with additional required class meetings on Friday April 23, 2027 from 5pm-7pm, and Saturday April 24, 2027 from 8:30am-6:30pm at the Nalanda Campus. CMHC615 is designed to assist students in completing their master's capstone project, with emphasis on integration of program coursework, scholarly writing, and publication/presentation requirements. CMHC616 is a continuation of CMHC 615, also focused on completing the master's capstone project and culminating in its completion. The BICC supplemental course description highlights an opportunity for students to review and integrate Buddhist teachings while engaging in their internship experience, examining ways to integrate Buddhist, clinical, social justice, and other contemporary approaches to contemplative clinical mental health counseling. The course culminates in a Master’s Paper and Presentation.
