The Clinical Support Assistant (CSA) supports clinic activities of the Comprehensive Pain Center by performing a variety of clinical and non-clinical duties related to patient care and smooth flow of patients through the clinic. They provide exceptional customer service through prompt and professional communication skills and problem solving skills. The CSA assists the care providers by performing rooming process for clinic office visits, taking and recording vital signs and patient history, documenting in the electronic medical record, and supporting providers with paperwork, check-in of phone visits, scheduling follow-up visits, and preparing charts. The position will clean exam rooms, stock supplies, and check expiration dates. This position reports to the Practice Manager and works closely with other clinic staff including nurses, medical assistants, PAS staff, and providers. Requires working in a fast-paced environment, handling many tasks at one time. This position requires someone who can problem solve, stay highly organized, and meet productivity standards. High level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to stay calm under high pressure conditions and timelines.
