Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One Year Inventory Management in a Store Room or Warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Liaison between Central Supply and Operating Rooms (ORs) (for contaminations, missing items, reprocessing), supporting room/location level replenishment as standard work as well as ad hoc requests throughout the day as well as transporting carts/equipment from storage areas to rooms, and transport of vendor trays from Central Supply to OR and back
- Responsible for daily/weekly cycle counts using Tecsys handheld scanners and for maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Reviews daily orders and expresses issue and/or cancels any lines as required to the pick lists/supply orders.
- Partners with system inventory analyst to manage and maintain local inventory data including maintenance of accurate bar code labeling of all items in storerooms and clinical areas.
- Reviews cancelled backorders from automated supply cabinet orders and fills / express issue any lines as applicable on receipt of goods.
- Assists Supply Chain Operations/Receiving staff with receiving issues and discrepancies for the facility including investigation and support of resolution of match exceptions due to missed receipts.
- Resolves questions from internal customers regarding storeroom items.
- Resolves item number and requisition concerns for storeroom items.
