About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor will provide day-to-day leadership and program management of a designated service line. This role involves staying current on all licensure, regulatory, and accreditation requirements associated with the service line, and making recommendations for policy and procedure changes to clinical leadership. The supervisor will also provide mentoring and training to staff within the program to ensure the provision of quality care and will provide direct services as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in human services field.
  • Licensure required.
  • Maintains First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Maintains current crisis prevention/intervention training.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and program management of designated service line.
  • Remain current on all licensure, regulatory, and accreditation associated with service line and make recommendations for policy and procedure changes to clinical leadership.
  • Provide mentoring and training to staff within the program to ensure provision of quality of care.
  • Provide direct services as needed.
  • Exemplify and promote the principles of Service Excellence in all actions and activities.
  • Apply principles of process improvement model to improve access to care and care coordination.
  • Conduct chart reviews to ensure that staff are documenting according to program standards and according to policy.
  • Provide staff education and training as needed to ensure quality of care and consistency in practice.
  • Review and co-sign clinical documentation within assigned timeframes.
  • Collaborate with agency managers and directors in the care delivered to consumers to ensure seamless, effective service delivery.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy according to consumer needs meeting evidence-based practice fidelity.
  • Assist with marketing efforts to promote program.
  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision as needed to ensure program fidelity.
  • Ensure all necessary reporting is submitted accurately and timely.
  • Maintain a current working knowledge of center policies and procedures, licensure regulations, CARF Standards, Medicaid, and other regulatory bodies governing Prestera's service delivery.
  • Write professional, quality reports and correspondence.
  • Attend all departmental and center meetings/trainings as assigned.
  • Adhere to confidentiality, HIPAA, and risk management policies and procedures including but not limited to completing Incident Reports.
  • Participate in other functional work by participating in related projects, as applicable and directed by Center leadership.
  • Supervise staff that work in program/service line.
