About The Position

This position conducts oversight of the programming and service delivery; conducts staff supervision; acts as a resource for therapists in the delivery of therapeutic services; performs diagnostic evaluations; and develops treatment plans. Supports data collection and CQI efforts; maintains liaison with the County. The Clinical Supervisor shall be on the premises the number of hours necessary to manage and administer the program component of the facility in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The facility is a 16-bed voluntary residential facility offering a short-term, home-like environment with 24/7 intensive treatment designed as an alternative to hospitalization or urgent care. Residents receive physical and psychological evaluation, medical support services, mental health and case management services. Individuals live on-site for several weeks, on average, while they receive counseling and learn basic living and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from an accredited college or university
  • Four (4) years direct service experience with the mentally ill, preferably adults
  • Two (2) years supervising direct care staff, in a health care setting preferred
  • California BBS licensed as a LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Psy.D required
  • Must possess a valid CA driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver eligibility policy
  • CPR certification from persons qualified by agencies including but not limited to the American Red Cross or obtain certification within 90 days of employment

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years LMFT, LCSW, LPCC or Psy.D post-licensure preferred
