About The Position

The Clinical Supervisor will serve as the lead clinician at the Anthony site, providing direct therapeutic services, overseeing clinical quality, and supporting paraprofessional staff. This role ensures high‑quality care, regulatory compliance, and strong community partnerships.

Requirements

  • Must be independently licensed in the State of New Mexico (LISW, LPCC, LMFT, Licensed Psychiatrist, or Licensed Psychologist).
  • Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related field required.
  • Advanced knowledge of ethics in clinical practice.
  • Advanced knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and mental health treatment.
  • Advanced knowledge of mental illness, trauma-informed care, and DEI-centered service delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Familiarity with paraprofessional scope of practice and documentation standards.

  • Board Approved Supervisor status preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a client caseload and deliver therapy aligned with agency and contract standards.
  • Complete timely, accurate documentation in the EHR.
  • Ensure continuity of care for all participants at the Anthony location.
  • Act as the primary clinical lead, ensuring adherence to agency policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide clinical guidance and consultation to on‑site staff.
  • Serve as a liaison to community partners and organizational leadership.
  • Supervise paraprofessional staff, offering direction, support, and performance feedback.
  • Review and co‑sign documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor performance and provide coaching and professional development.
  • Review and approve assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and safety plans.
  • Monitor billable hour compliance and address gaps proactively.
  • Communicate agency updates and policy changes to site staff.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with CYFD JPPO/PSD, MCOs, schools, and other community resources.
  • Participate in networking events, presentations, and interagency meetings.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
